Have you ever experienced the Disney Blues? It's a genuine feeling, and some days can be tough. Walt Disney World truly holds a special place in my heart, and after our Disney Cruise last year followed by a visit to Disney's Aulani, it feels like it's been ages since we were back home. Even though we visited EPCOT before our cruise, it didn't quite satisfy. I enjoyed the Disney Wish and Disney's Aulani, but there's a unique charm in visiting the parks and staying on the property and being imersed in the Magic. Here are some different ways we keep the magic alive when we are not in Walt Disney World.

My family and I enjoy going on "treasure" hunts to stay entertained between trips to Walt Disney World. We explore popular stores like Winner's/HomeSense, Marshall's, and Miniso, as well as Antique Shops, uncovering unique finds that add magic to our lives. Venturing into Antique Shops has enriched our experience, allowing us to appreciate craftsmanship and artistry from bygone eras. Our treasure hunts have become a cherished family tradition, filled with excitement, wonder, and the joy of discovery.
Family game nights are treasured in our home as they provide a fantastic opportunity for us to connect and form lasting memories. We typically opt for a variety of Disney Board Games and Cards during these gatherings, sparking our competitive but fun-loving sides. Participating in these friendly matches allows us to enjoy the magic and nostalgia that Disney brings into our household.
In addition to enjoying Disney during game nights, we eagerly anticipate and savor the newest Disney movies and TV shows. Each new release allows us to dive into engaging stories, vibrant characters, and magical worlds that captivate audiences of all ages. The magic of Disney inspires and entertains us, sparking conversations and fostering a shared love for storytelling and imagination.
Social media serves as a digital gateway for us to engage with people who have a similar passion for Disney. It provides a space where we can communicate with other Disney enthusiasts, exchange tips, and enjoy shared experiences. We especially appreciate following the travel and culinary escapades of others, as it enables us to virtually discover new or familiar places.
Browsing through my photos brings back memories of the past. Although I don't recall much from my childhood trip, I enjoy discussing it with my parents. One particular memory we often laugh about is my driving performance on Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom. Despite not being the most skilled driver, the fact that we still find humor in it years later is a testament to my love for Disney.

Planning ahead is key to our travel adventures! We love having at least one, if not two, upcoming trips in the pipeline to keep us excited and counting down the days until we embark on our next journey. It's always fun to dream about our preferred lodging and dining options, knowing that these plans might evolve as we solidify our reservations. Securing our bookings early also ensures that we snag the best deals, especially since prices tend to increase. If your thinking of a Disney trip of any kind, the sooner you book the better the price.
Even though not all share our deep love for Disney, we fully embrace being genuine Disney Adults, despite the challenges of openly expressing this passion.
