They will showcase the distinctive characteristics that set its gorgeous shores apart. Come along on a voyage to explore everything about this perfect paradise filled with incredible natural wonders.

Explore Lighthouse Point

Situated at the southernmost tip of Eleuthera, Lighthouse Point is a cherished area known for its coastline and rock formations where the Atlantic Ocean merges with the crystal-clear turquoise waters of The Bahamas. Disney Cruise Line selected this beloved spot to introduce visitors from all corners of the globe to the rich culture of The Bahamas.

Pretty in Pink

Get ready to take photos on these pink sand beaches, found all along the shores of Eleuthera. The pink hue is created by crushed coral and shell fragments blending with the island's white sandy beaches. One of the top spots in Eleuthera to experience these pink sand beaches is Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

Pass the Pineapple!

Throughout Disney Lookout Cay, visitors will discover traces of a significant aspect of Eleuthera's past: the pineapple. Eleuthera is renowned for its extensive tradition of pineapple cultivation, standing out as one of the few locations in The Bahamas with its unique red soil. The cultivation of pineapples holds such significance in Eleuthera's history that annually, the island holds the renowned Pineapple Festival, uniting tourists and locals to commemorate the harvest period.

A HOLE Lot of Water

Come on a trip to Rock Sound, Eleuthera, where you can discover Ocean Hole, a naturally occurring blue hole that Bahamians believe is linked to the ocean through ancient caves dating back 300,000 years. The residents of Rock Sound, who are proficient swimmers, frequent this picturesque hole renowned for its high salt content, making floating effortless compared to seawater. Some locals even attest to the extraordinary natural healing qualities of this scenic spot! Ocean Hole and Lighthouse Point Beach both showcase breathtaking limestone rock formations, adding to the unique charm of this enchanting island.

Blue Hole is available as one of many opportunities to explore the beauty of Eleuthera in Disney Lookout Cay's local Eco Tour port adventures.

Cave of Wildlife Wonders

Located near Ocean Hole is Cathedral Cave, a natural rock formation with high, spacious ceilings, hanging tree roots, and shimmering sunlight filtering through. This well-liked destination draws tourists and locals alike, offering a glimpse of the native wildlife of the Bahamas.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover Bahamian wildlife along the picturesque nature trail at Disney Lookout Cay, featuring bronze sculptures of indigenous animals. Additionally, guests can explore Cathedral Cave as part of the port excursions offered at Disney Lookout Cay, such as the South Eleuthera Eco and Cultural Tour and the South Eleuthera Eco and Historical Tour.

The Glass Window Bridge

Eleuthera is home to one of The Bahamas' most iconic landmarks, the Glass Window Bridge. This unique land formation used to divide the Atlantic Ocean from the tranquil waters of the Exuma Sound and the 700 islands of The Bahamas. Renowned artist Kevin Cooper captured this natural wonder in his paintings, which are displayed in the cabanas and can be bought as lithographs at Disney Lookout Cay for a memorable souvenir.

Eleuthera is a remarkable location and an ideal setting for Disney Cruise Line's latest getaway, which honors the charm and heritage of The Bahamas. Disney believes that visitors will enjoy it as much as they do!
