With stunning decorations, festive parades, special events, and delicious seasonal treats, there is a wide array of experiences for everyone to savor. As we celebrate being Halfway to the Holidays, here are 5 fresh and familiar attractions that will entice visitors to start planning their dream holiday escape to Walt Disney World Resort.

1. Disney Jollywood Nights is back!

Prepare your holiday glamour, as Disney Jollywood Nights is back with the red carpet treatment! From November 9 to December 21, on specific nights, visitors can enjoy five hours of festive fun from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at this exclusive event with limited capacity and separate tickets.

Prepare to come together on Hollywood Boulevard for an exciting new skating show featuring beloved holiday songs. Experience the talent and artistry of world champion skaters multiple times each night, offering a unique and breathtaking take on the classic ice performance.

Is receiving hugs from rare characters on your holiday wishlist? Fantastic news! This year's event offers more than 20 distinct character encounters, including both familiar faces and new additions.

Experience the joy of meeting familiar characters such as Phineas and Ferb, Santa Duffy, and Santa Stitch, as well as the excitement of encountering new favorites like Bo Peep, Lotso, Baloo, and King Louie from TaleSpin. Remember, your event ticket includes Disney PhotoPass digital downloads!

Classic culinary delights, such as the famous Gertie cookie, will make a comeback, complemented by fresh treats. Additionally, upon departure, every visitor will be gifted with a sweet creation from Wondermade!

They have compiled a list of surprises for Disney Jollywood Nights! Along with the opportunity to meet beloved characters, enjoy tasty treats, and shop, the evening will feature exciting shows such as What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along, Disney Holidays in Hollywood, and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

The Holiday Fiesta en la Calle will be relocated to Animation Courtyard, where guests can catch a glimpse of Jose Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros! At the same time, The Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club in the Tower Courtyard will offer guests an evening of dancing. Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby will make a comeback – securing a reservation is advised as space is limited.

Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10. The dates for 2024 are:

  • November 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30

  • December 2, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21

2. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Makes a Festive Return

There is no better feeling than being part of the happiness and festive atmosphere that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party brings to Magic Kingdom Park!

Guests who enjoy sweet treats will be delighted to know that the tasty complimentary cookies and cocoa will once again be served throughout the party, adding an extra touch of sweetness to the evening. Each night will be brimming with holiday spirit, from the beautifully adorned Main Street, U.S.A. to the magical holiday-themed attractions.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a limited capacity five-hour holiday event, kicking off November 8 and running on select nights through December 20 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.

The dates for 2024 are:

  • November 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29

  • December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20

Indulge in the festive offerings at Holiday Kitchens scattered throughout the park, offering a tempting selection of seasonal foods and beverages to satisfy guests' cravings from various countries.

4. More Festive Offerings Across Walt Disney World Resort

Disney is excited to announce that numerous beloved holiday experiences will be returning to their parks and Disney Springs this season!

Visitors to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park can look forward to the captivating Merry Menagerie featuring artisan-crafted winter animal puppets, set against the backdrop of stunning holiday decorations. Be sure not to miss the chance to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy dressed in their festive outfits!

Meanwhile, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the festive projection show on the Hollywood Tower Hotel will be back, and guests will have the opportunity to see Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear in their holiday attire at Toy Story Land.

The "Frozen Holiday Surprise" will be back at Magic Kingdom in front of Cinderella Castle, starring Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the cute Snowgies.

Additionally, there are exclusive discounts available for stays on most Sunday to Thursday nights from October 6 to November 21. Guests can also receive a complimentary Park Hopper option with their tickets by upgrading to a Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a non-discounted 4-day or longer date-based ticket.
