New Disney Retail Shops Opening Soon!
We recently announced that three new shops are coming to the district! Here's a closer look at these exciting upcoming locations.
Opening on Dec. 6, 2024, Avengers Reserve will celebrate fandom and the tales of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and their remarkable friends! At the entrance, a 9-foot Incredible Hulk sculpture will be bursting through the wall, while Spider-Man is perched atop the building. Inside, the store will feature a high-energy, industrial atmosphere with lighting effects, authentic film props, and a media screen with a gaming demonstration station.
The shop will offer comic books, must-have collectibles, Super Hero-themed apparel, and role-play toys for all ages. The collections will be updated regularly, encouraging guests to visit again and again!
Opening on December 6, 2024, the D-Lander Shop will feature a light, bright, and modern design with vibrant colors, a cozy lounge area, and fitting rooms adorned with stunning, eye-catching artwork!
Overall, this could become a new favorite destination for trendy fashion and co-branded collections of apparel, handbags, and jewelry, including offerings from Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, and a dedicated Pandora Jewelry shop-within-a-shop!
Opening this winter, Disney Wonderful World of Sweets will be a delightful destination offering the sweetest flavors, featuring an impressive selection of new confectionery delights! The interior will be whimsical and colorful, adorned with dimensional murals of this delicious new world, and exhibition kitchens will be visible from both the promenade and inside the shop. Here, visitors can stop by for favorite snacks like caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops, churro toffee, and introducing to the Disneyland Resort, freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn. These treats are ideal for gift-giving, or guests can simply take some home for themselves!
Parkside Market Opening This Winter, With New Details!
Parkside Market is set to open this winter on the district's west end, uniting four unique venues under one roof! To start, let's unveil the name of the second story bar: Vista Parkside Market, which will provide stunning views of the district while offering signature craft cocktails and mocktails crafted with local ingredients and artistic garnishes. These beverages will perfectly complement Parkside Market's menus, with full service directly to guests' tables.
As previously mentioned, Parkside Market will include Seoul Sister, a fast-casual modern eatery offering Korean-style rice bowls; Sip & Sonder providing lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks, and tasty small bites; and GG’s Chicken Shop serving chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides.
An Initial Glimpse at Porto’s Bakery and Café's Unique Concept
Exciting developments are in progress for Porto’s Bakery and Café, and we are eager to offer guests an exclusive preview!
Porto's enthusiasts can enjoy their beloved Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls, and other treats from the Bakery and Café. For those seeking a more enriched Porto's experience, this will be the first location to offer sit-down table service and a full bar.
Introducing Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, and Pearl’s Roadside BBQ Restaurants
Here's some exciting news about two upcoming restaurant concepts being developed for Downtown Disney District by Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori.
Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon is set to be a traditional steakhouse, featuring a vibrant central bar, serving prime beef cuts, fresh seafood, sandwiches, and salads, along with a remarkable range of bourbon and creative cocktails.
Adjacent to it, Pearl’s Roadside BBQ will serve as a quick service restaurant, featuring tasty options like pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked heritage turkey with homemade sauces, accompanied by craft beers and moonshine cocktails.
Visitors might notice construction starting soon where these eateries will replace the former Tortilla’s Jo’s.
Generating Anticipation for New Designs at The LEGO Store
The LEGO Store has been actively crafting new designs as they renovate their flagship Downtown Disney location. While the store is set to reopen shortly with updated interior spaces, their Master Builders will start working on new sculptures for the exterior. The LEGO Store is always a vibrant world full of color and creativity!
Enjoy the Holiday Season at Downtown Disney District
The festive season is approaching (Nov. 15, 2024 – Jan. 6, 2025), and Downtown Disney offers a charming setting to wander and enjoy this magical time of year with sparkling decorations, unique shopping, a new holiday ornament cart, special holiday menus at selected restaurants, live music, and family activities.
Visitors can experience the nightly snowfall from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. each evening from Nov. 29, 2024 – Jan. 6, 2025, at the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn, along with a special photo opportunity from Disney Vacation Club. Guests should also look out for Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail featuring hidden ornaments from Nov. 22, 2024 – Jan. 1, 2025.
Guests can buy an activity map at selected shopping locations in Downtown Disney and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort to aid in their ornament hunt and redeem it at World of Disney or Disney’s Pin Traders for a holiday souvenir.*
